Automatic Approval for Copyright Recordation in Indonesia
In order to achieve the target of increasing copyright recordations in Indonesia, the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) launched Automatic Approval for Copyright Recordation / Persetujuan Otomatis Pencatatan Hak Cipta (POP HC). This program has successfully registered more than 7,000 copyright recordations for the period January to July 2022. This number has more or less doubled compared to the same period in 2021. This increase is the result of reducing the application time for copyright registration from 1 day to less than 10 minutes through the POP HC service.
